Submissions guidelines
- Submissions must feature ORELiA as the main vocalist.
​
- Submissions featuring human vocals or other vocal synthesizers are not eligible, including for chorus or harmony parts.
​
- Submissions must be original works created by a human. No AI-generated content is allowed.
​
- Submissions may be of any genre or length, as long as they fit the theme of the event.
​
- Submissions must use ORELiA’s French, English, or Japanese voicebank. You may tweak or modify the voicebank to make ORELiA sing in other languages.
​
- Submissions must be uploaded within the contest period to be considered for the Grand Prize. Any works published before the start date or after the deadline will not be accepted.
​
- Submissions must be free of any copyrighted material (e.g., samples, melodies, or lyrics you do not own).
​
- Each participant may submit more than one entry.
- By submitting, participants grant the organizers permission to use the song (in full or in part) for promotional purposes related to Virtual Voyage 2026.
​
Rules & Conditions
- There are no restrictions on who can enter. However, participants under 18 years old must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Commercial or corporate submissions (i.e., entries created or owned by a company) are not eligible.
​
- Collaborative submissions are allowed. However, a single representative must be designated as the main contact and recipient of any prizes.
​
- Previously released works or songs that have been made publicly available in any form cannot be submitted. Please also refrain from submitting songs that already have planned releases or distribution outside of this contest.
​
- Entries that are submitted to other song contests taking place during the same period are not eligible.
​
- Submissions received after the contest deadline will not be considered, regardless of reason.
​
- If a copyright infringement claim is made against any submission, StudioWAN will not be held liable. All responsibility for resolving such issues lies with the entrant.
​
- Any submitted work may be used by StudioWAN for promotional purposes related to Virtual Voyage 2026, without prior notice or additional compensation. This may include the use of the song, visuals, or cover art in official materials or events.
​
- The Grand Prize winner will be required to provide the .wav (or other lossless format) of the completed song.​
​
- The winning song may be edited, mixed, or arranged by StudioWAN if needed for live performance or event use.
​
- Winners will be contacted via email during the week after the contest ends. They must respond within three (3) days to claim their prize. If no reply is received, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to another entry.
​
- StudioWAN is not responsible for invalid or incorrect contact information provided by entrants.
​
- Upon selection, the rights to the Grand Prize-winning entry will be transferred to the organizers of Virtual Voyage 2026. In the case of commercial use, a complimentary royalty payment may be provided at the organizers’ discretion.
​
- The organizers will not claim ownership of any submissions that are not selected as prize winners.
​
- The contest rules and conditions may be modified or canceled at any time without prior notice.
​
- By submitting an entry, participants agree to all rules and conditions stated here, including any terms required by third-party platforms used for submission. The organizers are not liable for any disputes arising from the use of such services.
